We publish breed-by-breed research on temperament, health risks and what a dog actually costs to own — the parts most breed profiles leave out.
What we cover
Around 7,000 pages across eight formats: breed profiles, side-by-side comparisons, breed-specific health and behaviour problems, separation anxiety guides, city-level ownership costs, and lifestyle-matching lists and quizzes. Every page is written for one specific question rather than as a general overview.
Where the data comes from
Breed traits — size, energy, grooming load, vocality, tolerance of heat and cold — come from breed-standard documentation and are scored consistently so two breeds can be compared on the same scale. Health risks are organised by the conditions each breed is genuinely predisposed to. Cost models combine purchase price, routine veterinary care, food, grooming and insurance, adjusted by city. This is not veterinary advice
Health pages describe what a condition looks like, what tends to cause it in a given breed, and when a symptom stops being something to watch and starts being a reason to call a vet.
